How to Start Mining Cortex SOLO

Choose your mining server:

Region Share Diff Server Status
By default or if in doubt which share difficulty to choose, choose the lower one. We recommend the high share difficulty if you mine with more than 500 GPU's. If you mine using Nicehash you should always choose the high share difficulty. Share difficulty doesn’t affect miner rewards. Read more.

Step 1 - Create a wallet

You could use the official Cortex wallet or generate an address at a crypto exchange, for example Binance.

Step 2 - Download mining software

For Nvidia GPU's we recommend GMiner (Guide - How to use GMiner).
For AMD GPU's we recommend lolMiner (Guide - How to use lolMiner).
Quick start - Download ready to go version of the GPU Miner (archive password - 2miners).

Step 3 - Edit the bat file

Use YOUR_ADDRESS that you've created on Step 1.
Example: 0xe323ce2f5c0d25f0c7e1db1ee51f39265c52e614
If you want, you can Change RIG_ID in the bat file. Specify the name of the rig as you want it to be shown in miner's statistics page. This field is not mandatory. You could leave it empty.
Length of RIG_ID - Maximum 32 characters. Use English letters, numbers and symbols "-" and "_".
Example: rig-1

Settings for GMiner:

miner.exe --algo cortex --server solo-ctxc.2miners.com --port 6666 --user YOUR_ADDRESS.RIG_ID
pause

Settings for lolMiner:

lolMiner.exe --coin CTXC --pool solo-ctxc.2miners.com:6666 --user YOUR_LOGIN.RIG_ID
